It was good to have a guide who could tell us so much…
Wayne and I want to thank you for an amazing full day tour. The diversity of the landscape was unexpected, I thought it would be mostly dry land scrub but what I saw was so different. There was scrub, but also the saltbush, native pine that seem to thrive and in the gorges, majestic very old gum trees. It was good to have a guide who could tell us so much about the history of the area, the stories and challenges of the early settlers and the geological history of the area. We had never heard of the golden spike and the significant place it takes in SA history. Loved seeing the wildlife, especially the lizards and goanna, am delighted that we didn’t see a snake. We had a great day and hope to come back next year.
