Trip Details  Quorn is approximately 4hrs (336km’s – Hwy A1) drive from Adelaide.
Please let us know when you expect to arrive as we can meet you prior to departure. We can help you book a site at the Quorn Caravan Park for the night prior to you getting there, if you wish.


Itinerary  – Tour starts at Quorn, S.A.

For those who can arrange to leave earlier, we will be meeting at the Quorn Caravan Park at around 6.00pm, to welcome you to our town. Set up camp, relax and enjoy a meal at your campsite, in the camp kitchen or at one of Quorn’s many lovely dining venues. There’s 4 pubs, 3 Cafe’s and an IGA supermarket to purchase food and drinks if you wish.  tag along

Day 1 For those who are travelling today to Quorn, we will meet at Flinders Ranges Visitor Information Centre (Quorn Railway Station) in Quorn. We will be leaving for the Horseshoe Top End around 10.30am. Once at Horseshoe Top End, we will set up camp, have a leisurely lunch and then start to explore the property – 4WD driving, bush walking and photography.  tag along tour flinders ranges

Day 2  tag along tour Horseshoe Top End Continuing exploring Horseshoe Top End.  Time to discover both your vehicle and your capabilities on the scenic station tracks. The tour includes a commentary on the local flora & fauna and instructions on how to traverse the terrain safely, without damaging your vehicle. Many opportunities for photography and some bush walking, taking in the spectacular scenery this part of the rugged Flinders Ranges has to offer.

Day 3 Today we are exploring another property – Almerta Station – with different landscapes and 4WD tracks and we have lunch at a picturesque spring fed waterhole. On our way back to camp, we will call into the newly reopened Carrieton Hotel for dinner. Your main meal is included in the tour cost so just buy your own drinks and enjoy the lovely country pub atmosphere.  Almerta Station 4wd tag along tour

Day 4 Explore Horseshoe Top End in the morning, breaking camp around noon and you can head home via Carrieton and down through the Mid North. Alternatively, for those who have more time, you can follow us across to Quorn and have lunch at one of the pubs or cafes and head home from there or stay on for our Extended Flinders Ranges Tour. We will be travelling further into the Flinders Ranges on more challenging 4WD Tracks with magnificent scenery and great photographic opportunities!   Flinders Ranges 4wd Tour

    Hi Norman , we hope you and the family are well. We were wondering if it was to late to do one of your 3 or 4 day trips.

    There would be three of us in the ford ranger, could you please cost this if available.(could also include catered)

    We will all have swags and some cooking gear.
